Storytelling Techniques
This documentary gives both sides of the argument. Like all good storytelling techniques, they raise a question and provide answers to that question. This documentary is using a lot of experience from a variety of different people. It uses out footage from meetings and debates from different places.
Media
The first big thing for the technology driven society, is filing taxes online. The government had a surplus from this because more people paid their taxes because it was easier for them to do so.
Sources
Other sources include interviews from a lot of different people, and experiences from a lot of big people from high up in companies to talk about how they use their own technology in their everyday personal life. Also how they have used technology to make their company stronger, and able to reach out to anyone around the world. Look at Apple in California, they are one of the most common smart phones around the world, and they are American founded. Technology has made it easier to sell products anywhere.
Bias
I don't think there is any bias in this film, it is very informational more so on the topic of pro technology to making society easier and less stress for people, for example, filing taxes online, it’s quick and easy.
Connection
With this documentary i can use the pros of technology, to make my information look better in my actual project. I can take a lot from this, like technology isn't just devices like phones and computers. Technology includes road systems and traffic engineering. This will help my support for the technology driven society, it will show that i'm not against technology. It will show i am showing and being cautious with our device driven society and is this a direction that we want to go.

In summary of this documentary, it provided a lot of information on the pros of technology. I now know that technology includes the road systems we have to get around today. The documentary talked a lot about the actual life in a networked society, and how it can be beneficial to us to do this. For example, filing your taxes online is a huge benefit to everyone. We can actual pay our taxes and the government receives a surplus because it is easier for people to file taxes.
This research is very helpful for me. It is very reliable, and provides great information on what a networked society looks like. My other sources for my capstone are more the cons of cellphone use and the evolution of smartphones and how they’re affecting the younger generations.
This source will be helpful for me to show that technology isn't just cellphones, computers, and videogames. It will help support my view on how the social networking side of technology isn't helping us. I don't think our generation views a car as a technology, just because we are so accustom to it, or even a computer. It helps me show how technology like the roadways actually benefit society.
